How did you come up with your username?

Was it something you put thought into or did you just throw something on the registration tab and call it a username?

As for mine there's really no real inspiration behind it. I just spent a couple minutes brainstorming and thought of something that could sound catchy, unusual, and plural (14). Eyupp....

Hahaha, nice question! I think it's the same as your situation, since mine is just pokémon no453's japanese name (aka Croagunk)... it came up in my mind some time ago and yeah, it's not that original, but I liked it. :')

Ness - Mother 2/EarthBound, Smash - Super Smash Bros. series. My two fav series of gaming ever. Mother on top. I recommend you join my campaign if you love non-medieval period RPG's with great music with enemies you can see. which isn't that important, but it's unique to the series.

Yeah I didn't put much thought into it. Location and nickname that is all. I'm not really creative when it comes to username picking. Ha! Also too lazy to try.

I'm sure if you seen or heard of the Naruto series, you probably either heard of me, or know who I am. I am a huge fan of the Akatsuki, and even more so Sasori. Before though, I was Omega from the Final Fantasy series.

My username is Ness because-um oh wait, I changed it a few days ago to Sollux for a little while.

Well, I've been called Ness on some other forum years ago, people just started calling me that since Brawl's release. It stuck with me ever since especially because of how I generally act and how much I support the Mother series, and I make tons of EarthBound references liike nothing. I don't do so as much on this forum though.

My username is set as Sollux right now because.....
It's another alias some people have been calling me elsewhere occasionally due to Homestuck shenanigans, and because of my rare unintended quirk typos.

Well... my first username, Young Link Addict, came from my loving of Young Link in Melee, which will never die. However, years back I embraced the evil and started loving evil things. So I started to like Dark Link too. However, there was no Dark Young Link in any game. So I took the liberty of making it. I even started a fanfic about DYL's origins and all that, but it never got finished.

I came up with my username on YouTube back on September 16, 2008 when I was just 10 years old, and it's based off Yoshi from Mario Bros.

Go Texas! :)

Man, you made a YouTube account at a young age! Do you have any videos? I'm looking to be impressed by a youngster with some years of experience!

Sadly, I deleted my old YouTube account along with my first videos long ago, but my new one has been up since 2011.

Mine has a rather...complicated backstory to it, something not many of the people commenting have, it seems.

Way back when in 8th grade, one of my good friends started making comics using classic Mega Man sprites, particularly the Robot Masters. He also took, fused, and otherwise manipulated some of them to make 8 beings that were new. These were the "authors" of the comic, and they represented his good friends. My character's name was Lord Regal. Now, my friend loves to get into things, but he never really keeps them up, and within a couple months, his comics stopped. However, the name stuck in my head, until I wrapped it into my online life. I'm Lord Regal pretty much everywhere now, or Lord Regal94 if Lord Regal itself is taken. Look for the luminous chess piece...every place that has an avatar aside from here, that's what I use. I'm also trying to write a book about the revised "authors" (I took the names and recreated them all from scratch to create their current form...no robots involved now), so there's that too I guess.

My username is a song by Between the Buried and Me. AKA the greatest band in the world. (just my opinion, lol)

I don't listen to much metal anymore, but I used to be a HUGE BTBAM fan. Still listen to them every now and then.

I watch basketball semi-obsessively and live in Memphis, so I'm a big Grizzlies fan, and that's where the MEMgrizzlies comes from. As for the 7, I just like that number.

It's my name in real life.

Wait, you're Korean (I think, that's the only country that has 'cha' or anything like it as a given name for individuals)?

As for my own username... take one guess. I assume it's not too difficult to figure out the reason I chose it...

Fascinating! Is there a place where you have uploaded these comics, I'm sure they would be interesting to read. And, your book for that matter!

I'm not Korean. I'm hmong. :)

I don't have any of my friend's comics, as he would print them out and show me. Mine I typically didn't finish, because they were more story-like, and eventually there'd be too many sprites for the tool I used to handle and it stopped working right for that comic. As for the story...I'm loathe to show any of it online...I've read that if you put something from anything you've created online, if someone steals it before you publish it it's not something you can legally pursue. Therefore, my book stays with me :)

I will show you what the original Lord Regal looked like though. I apologize for the poor quality...for some reason my friend wouldn't give me the hard image, but rather gave me a print of three of the most common ones he used, meaning I had to scan it into my computer. Note that the current (book) rendition is quite different from this:
