Tomorrow I'm having steak. I don't tend to buy it that often because it's quite expensive, but I figure you have to treat yourself every now and then.

How do you like your steak? Well done? Rare? Medium? Burnt?

I love mine well done. You?
 
I like my steak medium. I hate when I get an overcooked steak and it tastes like I'm trying to eat leather and its got no flavor at all.
 
Medium-rare. To specify, I liked it slightly seared on the outside, pink internally, and with plenty of juice (man, that sounded bad, haha). I also sometimes add seasoning (Montreal or Chicago) and don't mind steak sauce, although the grade A steak doesn't require it. 
 
Medium rare for me. I like it juicy and with a little bit of red showing.

Dear god this is making my salivate... I haven't had a good steak in a long time. Mmm... delicious steak.
 
I do not eat steak too often myself because I am not a huge fan however when I do I always like to have mine medium to well done.

I just don't like the taste of medium rare at all, it has to be well done but not burnt.

As a big steak eater i tend to stress this to my waiters lol.
 
Always want my steak well done. Many consumers and cooks are warned against eating uncooked or extremely rare meat because of associated health risks. meat is often contaminated with bacteria. including salmonella and listeria which can be killed by cooking at a proper temperature. meat that is rare may still contain living bacteria that can cause infection resulting in intestinal discomfort and rare cases of death. if prepared safely some red meat can be eaten rare, while white meat including poultry and pork should never be eaten rare.

Out of curiousity, may i ask how come?

Is it a condition that doesn't allow your to eat steak?

Or just a sheer lack of interest in trying it?

I'm asking because I have never run across someone who has never had a steak.

Because your previous post implies that you have had it and you like it medium.

You did not say that you never had it in your previous post...
