Well, some people have said the game seems a bit boring, while others seem to think it'll be great regardless, so say how excited you are for New Super Mario Bros 2 here!

Myself, I'm sort of excited. Not as much as I would be for an all bells and whistles Mario 64 like game (such as how hyped I was for Super Mario Galaxy 1), but hyped regardless simply because it's Mario and guaranteed to be a good game.
 
it looks good from the few screenshots but i have no strong opinion just yet as gameplay has not been shown or any huge details revealed so ill have to wait and see if it will be a game ill get at launch =)
 
Exactly how I feel for every other game on my wanted list: Hyped up to the point of wanting it. If Nintendo decide to put Yoshi in this game I will go and pre-order it the very next day as soon as physically possible, because I'll be sold. And since I will have no way of getting to Japan and demanding a copy of the game on a strict threat-of-the-vocal-abuse....

Which reminds me, I really, really need to pre-order Mario Tennis Open as well as quite a few others.....

The closest option in the poll to my feelings was "Sort of interested, Mario games are always good." I'm not as excited about this as I have been about other Mario games, but as time goes on and we get more information about the game, I'll probably get into it more. I've generally enjoyed other Mario games, too, so I expect that this one will at least be fun to play--hopefully it'll have something new, though.
 
Another "sort of interested" here. I'd be a lot more hyped if they hadn't been milking Mario so much lately.

At the moment I'd be more hyped for something that actually filled a void on the console. Something we don't already have. I have enough 2d platformers for now and I'd prefer something different. Maybe in a year or 2 if it were to come out, I'd be a lot more excited about it.

I'm sure I'll get it, but probably not straight away.
 
Hard to make an opinion over a couple of screenshots, but I think it'll be a great game. I've loved the other two New Super Mario games.

To be totally honest, I don't think Nintendo should just keep sticking the Super Leaf/Tanooki Suit on every new game. I love the power-up, but I wish they'd create some new gameplay elements. The Boomerang Suit was just a fancy Fire Flower, and they even said that power-up was created late in the game's development.

I have also played Mario bros 2 games and find this games is not up to the gaming user expectation. Mostly there are nothing new in the new games other than themes and design.
 
Im pretty excited for it, I think they definately need to add some more powerups, characters, and add some new gameplay elements to live up to its expectation
 
Boo YAH! I picked Kinda Hyped. Mainly Pokemon and Zelda games hype me up to max mario, well dunno why mario games don't....

This is gonna be one of the best games on 3DS, maybe even better than Super Mario 3D Land!

The goal is to collect a millions coins... and Mario can fly again!!! Hooray!!

Eh. Somewhat. I loved the first one. The Wii one was nice. Then they announced 2 and I'm like alright... and then the Wii U version and I'm just like, stop. Like there's got to be something redeeming about this one. It can't be a re-skin. I'll buy it obviously, and I'm sure it'll be great, but it needs to have something new or different to remain from being stale.
 
I'm not hyped about it. It looks pretty cool and a Mario game is a Mario game so I may get it.
