how to make a Animated GIF to be profile picture

The title says most of what im asking so any idea how i can do this ive seen other people on the forum with an Animated GIF as their profile picture can anyone help me get one as my profile pic?
 
you need to find an animated gif you like, and place it in the URL part when changing avatars. Right click the picture and there should be an option to "Copy URL" or something. paste that in the box and save.

Or just save it and upload from computer. Eenny meeny miney mo!

And it turns out, it needs to be one hell-ova short/small gif.

And sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. why they don't, idunno.

Werd. I think it might be because it's not up to the specific size. I've tried a few, and Quagmire over there works fine, it's within the 200x200 dimensions, while others didn't.

So the gif may need to be cropped to size.

Even then though I'd make it 100, only because of the 100kb limit. By all means go for it, I'm not stopping you.
