The books are better than the movies. I've read all the books and watched all the movies so far. The first movie is a disappointment, the second and third ones were decent, but nowhere near as good as the books. I disapprove of Jennifer Lawrence playing Katniss because she just does not fit the role.
I've decided that I'm going to wait until I've read all the books and then I'll sit down to watch the movies. By the time I finish the books though, Mockingjay part 2 will probably be out on dvd/blu-ray. But that would be okay with me because then I could have a movie marathon when I have some time off.
