I Am Disapointed in Younger Me

I found Pokemon Red today in a in case with my GBA in it. Since my GBASP broke I put it in and looked at the Pokemon. I now know why I never beat the Elite Four... Here are my Pokemon.

Charizard level 62

• Go younger me, I trained that thing up to be beast.

Omanyte Level 38

• Ok I see why it's level 38. I got it not that long ago before the Elite Four place...

Pikachu level 35

• I knew I got a Pikachu in every game, but level 35? Really?

Hitmonlee level 32

• At least I was smart enough to get the one that didn't have the bad moves.

Lapras level 23

• That was what level 20 when you first get it? *Sigh*

Farfetch'd level 22

• In game traded and a Pokemon I hated for a long time. Why did I get that?

Pokemon is a very stern part of my childhood. I've been playing it since it game out. I mean I'm so much better after playing for so long but still. I didn't know I sucked that bad. I did beat the Elite Four in Fire Red though. So I didn't screw up too badly I guess.

I also found Gold, but no data can be saved because it deletes no matter what.

Plus I found Sapphire, but something went out so time events wouldn't work. My team? Who cares, I forget I traded them to Diamond because I was getting Regigigas.

How about you? How bad did you fail at Pokemon when you were younger? Were you just as disapointed in yourself as I was with me?

When I was younger, I just used one Pokemon through the whole game.

Then again, in Pokemon Gold and Silver my team was more three powerful Pokemon and three forgettable untrained ones (the fully evolved fire starter, Ho-oh and Ampharos, at level 50-60, others at level 20 and 30).

I only used to make teams once I'd defeated the elite four... that was kind of slow.

Same as you. I used Charizard throughout the whole game I managed it but I had to get a full team at the league.

Hmmm.... I know I used Pikachu and Haunter in my final team. Also, probably Blastoise. As for the others... I don't know. I might have to see if my old cartridge still works.
