I don't know about PS3

So while I was browsing Gamestop yesterday for some used PSP games, I looked at the PS3 games and almost fell over when I saw that a few year old PS3 games were still selling for 30-40 bucks. If I was to get a PS3 I get it just so I can catch up on the old games that came out and to get FF 13. And right now I still don't have a wireless internet connection so I can't use PSN. But if the used games are that much I'm better off with a PS2 for now.

What are your thoughts on the PS3 game used prices?
 
I find PS3 old game prices very expensive compared to the Xbox 360 which ranges from 10 dollars to 40 dollars. The same kinds of goes for the Wii which still sells older games like Mario Kart for 60 bucks.

You might be able to get better deals on Amazon, or Ebay.
 
Those couple year old games are probably the better, older games, like Ratchet and Clank. I don't really mind because I have a lot of those older, higher priced games. If your new to the PS3, then I'm not so sure.

I'm not a big fan of games that I paid for being shipped from point A to point B without knowing what happens between the points.
 
Can find some good deals on Amazon. I myself also wonder why $30 is the new baseline they want games to get down to and stay. I personally think any game over 1-2 years should receive a further price cut.
 
19.99 for older games sound like a better deal. I bet when the PS4 comes out most of the older games will be 19.99 on the PS3.
