My NEW Wii U is acting up. Well, I wish it acted at all. I can use the gamepad to turn it on, but the gamepad then tells me... I turned it on so I could quote what it said and it is now working fine! False alarm, sorry!

Got it on Tuesday. I was quite annoyed that it had broken already. Until it wasn't.
My Wii U is having similar issues and last night was incredibly annoying.
Sometimes the system never turns on via gamepad. Other times the system will not shut down even if the gamepad did. And last night while loading a Netflix movie, the system shuts itself off and the red light started blinking. While the game pad was in idle in my hands. WTF NINTENDO?

Blue don't let your guard down on that. my old wii's parts started falling off not even half a year after i bought it. it actual managed to last until 2011, when i got it in 07. that doesn't mean i didnt have to fight it though.
