If Nintendo don't fix the Bowser Castle 1 glitch, it's Maka Wuhu all over again...

In fact, this kind of worries me really considering that it's a glitch shortcut which is both JUST obscure enough to sneak under many people's radar and JUST useful enough to break the race.

It's the perfect storm as far as the next glitch controversy goes, think about it:

The shortcut is on the shortest track in the game, and cuts a fair amount off the time needed to beat it. Hence the jerks who spam Wuhu Mountain Loop for quick VR would have a field day with this one.

It's possible with and without a Mushroom, and is fairly easy to do in general. Hence every idiot trying to rack up quick wins can probably pull it off easily.

It's only possible with certain karts. Guess which character and kart makes it easiest...

Metal Mario and the B Dasher!

Guess which character Wuhu Mountain Loop spammers tend to use?

Metal Mario and the B Dasher!

Yeah, seems almost built for Japanese Wuhu Mountain Loop glitch abusers doesn't it? Worse yet, some like the Barrel Train cannot use this glitch at all!

The track itself is easy and doesn't require much skill, hence its perfect for people decent enough to do the glitch but too crap to race legitimately to play.

You basically get dropped on the next set of item boxes, meaning nothing bar a Blue Shell or maybe Lightning can easily stop someone using it.

The end of the track is basically round the corner.

Better hope Nintendo fixes it with the patch, otherwise expect absolutely NOTHING but Bowser Castle 1 being picked on wifi for the next few months.

Anyone agree?

Here's an idea. If there's a glitch don't use it. That way no one complains about it. I've been saying this since the last glitch and no one seems to listen to it. I mean this is the most logical answer to go with. Don't use it and there's no problems.

^Please tell me you're not serious.

All we need is ONE person to use a glitch and then nearly everyone will. You can't get the entire population to not exploit a glitch that benefits them, right

I'm serious. Why do people have to cheat? Why can they not cheat? How hard is it to play fair in Mario Kart? I mean it's Mario Kart. How bad do you have to suck at such an easy game to cheat?

Prisoners dilemma. Basically while it's better for the group if people don't 'cheat', it's better for the individual if they do.

And while not everyone is 100% selfish, it's logical to use it. Otherwise people will use it on you, and you'll come out worst.

I don't get why everyone likes using Metal Mario, it has the same stats as Bowser and all those heavy racers...

• Pffft heavyweights. *Uses Mario all day* I'm pretty sure they'll catch it and fix it. Overall, I'm was really happy to see that they have finally decided to really do something about these glitchcuts. Maybe the majority of MK7 people that posted their opinions at Club Nintendo bothered them enough...*Recalls mentioning about the Maka Wuhu glitch and saying how he hopes they consider patching big time multiplayer games in the future* This is a great sign for said "big time multiplayer games", if you know what I mean. =D
