I like it because of the tracks and that you can play online. Also I like showing off my time trial times to all my friends where I live because they're not that good and they always wander how I get the times I get.
 
It's Mario Kart. That's why I like it. Every new game introduces new tracks and most games introduce new playable characters. The new ways to traverse the tracks (gliding and underwater driving) just add to the overall experience.

And every game has a new Rainbow Road. And thanks to the tune that plays in this one, it is my favourite of all. With 7 Rainbow Roads in the main series now (not counting the Arcade GP games), and the fact that the SNES version was in Mario Kart 7, I'm secretly hoping that the next Mario Kart has two Rainbow Road Cups featuring all the Rainbow Road tracks.
