Well IGN did mention that with Nintendo it is not really trying to predict what they will do, but how will they completely catch us off guard, since Nintendo has been so quiet even IGN thinks there must be something big behind the curtain. Which I think makes sense, while Sony and Microsoft have announced most things that we will see at E3, Nintendo still has us wondering in suspense.
Everyone is hoping for big 3Ds announcements after the last three quiet months.
And @Nin3Ds
Portal 3Ds had been mentioned when portal 2 came out. People thought it was Portal 3, but Valve confirmed that it would be for the 3Ds
Also GTA 4 has been confirmed for the Wii successor. Apparently a huuuuuuuge list of xbox360 and PS3 games are already being ported for it, so that at launch there will be a massive line up of pre exciting games that never existed on a Nintendo platform before. (Mention was that Rockstar will port all their titles, GTA4, Red Dead Redemption and LA Noir)
Also Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario and Super Mario 3DS all have been announced already, I think they had other stuff in mind. Like The makers of the Unreal 2011 engine presenting a game that uses it on the 3Ds as well as Capcom bringing out some more big titles using the similar engines the PC versions. Maybe a Dead Rising 3Ds.. Call of Duty 3Ds was suppose to be announced some time this year and so on. I think there are a lot of possibilities here, but then also alot of room for disappointment
Lasty the video recording will come sooner or later, Nintendo has been talking about nothing else but video video video since the release of the 3Ds, even when talking about the Update there was always big emphasis on Video, so it's just a matter of time till the video recording one will show up
Personally wish they made a new Metroid, since it IS the 25th anniversary of that as well after all and while at it why not a new castlevania, that's another game celebrating its 25th Anniversary
