Yes, I think a wired gaming keyboard and mouse is better for gaming because there is no interference, slow signal and drop signal which can make your keyboard and mouse not be as responsive as a wired keyboard and mouse. A wired keyboard and mouse also has a direct wired connection to your computer which is usually faster then wireless.
I bet when there are more USB 3.0 wired mouse and keyboards the connection will be even more responsive.
Plus, wired gaming mouse are not as heavy because there is no battery weighing it down then a wireless mouse which have a battery in it.
There are also no batteries to charge, so you won't lose power to either your keyboard or mouse while intense gaming which could use more power if you are pressing a lot of keys a lot for a long periond of time like when you are playing Starcraft 2.
