Is it basically impossible to put F-Zero on the 3DS?

When I think about it, the insanely high speed of the game plus the 3D effect could be extremely disorientating, and the fact the console is slightly less powerful than the Gamecube would mean any F-Zero game wouldn't really look that impressive on the 3DS.

Does that mean this is a series best saved for the Wii U?

Wow, Nin3DS is a troll now? Stating opinions as facts now? Where's your proof? "Other people have said it" isn't proof, before you think it is. IS there any actual proof?

I don't claim to know how powerful either console is, or what the measure of that should be, but since we're talking about a racing game, let's look at some examples.

I think it's possible that games haven't unlocked the full power of the 3ds, but if you compare the best games of the 3ds to the best games of the gamecube era, I think there's still some way to go.
 
You do know that "graphics" =/= "power", right? That's just part of it.

Also, there's a difference between "what it's capable of" and "what developers make". They could create something for the 3DS that makes Pong seem better than what PS4 graphics are likely to be like, it doesn't mean the 3DS has worse graphics than PONG.

If you read my post, that's pretty much what I said.

I also didn't actually mention graphics, but like you say, if we're talking about 'power', that's clearly part of it.

And I dunno, I think pong has pretty terrific graphics. There's very few games able to rock the simple stylistic look as well as Pong. Well maybe Snake, but that shit is cutting edge.

F-Zero hopefully is possible to come out on 3DS. I played some F-Zero games this summer and I really liked it. Just hopefully it comes out!

Heavens no. The GBA games may stink to high end, but the console versions were amazing.

And to be honest, it isn't impossible. They put it on the N64 with some half-assed graphics but it was still fun. They've got more area to explore with the 3DS, so it's not like they're limited by technology. For the 3D effect stuff, well, just make it so that the 3D effects weren't stupid and it'd be generally fine. I rarely play with 3D anymore unless if I'm bored so I wouldn't care much, but I'm wondering how difficult it would be to do 3D with lots of fast moving things... I don't think it would be that hard, would it?
