Working online as a self-employed online entertainer like Twitch video game streamer, online singer, online video maker, online comedian, or eBook writer usually don't have most of the risks like working at a traditional offline entertainment company which does not fairly pay its entertainers for their work, don't bother to find work for them, overwork their singers and actors, wearing uncomfortable clothing like a tiny swimsuit which show too much skin, going to parties with criminals who attend the parties, or have some bad entertainment bosses who use their power to mistreat their actors and singers.

There is a chance of making less money working online as an entertainer like Twitch game streamer, but you are not stuck signing a contract where you have to work too many hours per day, and convince or force to go to parties which you may not want to attend.

Got to get your image out somehow, internet is the best place.

I agree the internet is the best place for promoting your image, and content like a song, video, and standup comedy jokes. People can easily share content on many websites, forums, and social networks for free.

The internet market can be just as volatile as the offline market. It’s not this magical and perfect way to get money.

We can list plenty of youtubers and twitch streamers who have been successful for years, but we can list just as many, or more (if you remember them) who got rich quick, and are now homeless.

Well I don't really care one way or the other.

It's better to have their own hobbies and if they like doing it, well it's their choice I suppose

The internet can be a good way of getting reviews for video game gameplay footage, song, stand up comedy joke, and short film since posting comments, rating a video, and writing a review on a video is free and easy to do.

There is always a chance of not making money if a content creator don't get enough fans, and spent a lot of their money on buying digital video cameras, a faster desktop computer for Twitch game streaming or video editing, microphones, costumes, and props can be expensive.
