I feel some people may find it rude to talk to someone in real life, and also do low paying boring online tasks like watching online ad videos at the same time.

Some people may feel the person they are talking to, and doing low paying online tasks rather earn less than a dollar doing boring tasks than talk to them, and rather ignore them to earn very little money per hour, or no money at all if the online ad video website pays people with in-game money and DLC which can be only be used to buy things in a mobile and PC game.

May be so but that's how everyone is.
No one can wait for the response and wants to do something else in the mean time

I can understand why some people may do low paying online work like paid surveys/polls, paid , and watching advertisement video and paid surveys while also talking to people they are sitting next to.

Products like food and services like internet service are getting more expensive. Unemployment and low paying offline jobs are becoming being more common. Earning a little extra money can help them out in buying things like food, medicine, and paying their cell phone bills.

People who do low paying online work like paid surveys and polls may feel doing online paid tasks while talking to their friends, parents, and strangers is less rude than not talking to them at all when doing paid online tasks, or walking away from them to do paid online tasks on their smartphone or laptop.
