Heck, is it going to be as big as Super Smash Bros, considering how many options there are and how deep the online multiplayer seems to be?

Because it certainly seems like it has that potential if you ask me, and I can even see it inspiring a community like Mario Kart or Metroid Prime Hunters back on the DS.

And is anyone here going to be buying it?
 
Might pick it up somewhere down the line, but I'm not exactly dying with anticipation.

Nintendo seem to be promoting it like it's supposed to be the next big thing, but I haven't been won over by the hype yet. There's a few things that bug me about it to be honest.
 
They seem to be hyping this game quite a bit and seeing how it wasn't rushed into a particular release date, they must have had plenty of time to work on this. I say the game is going to be a big hit so long as they tweak the online play to not have any issues in terms of glitches and connectivity. If this game works, we will definitely see more of Pit in the future..
 
The game has recieved a Perfect 40/40 from Famitsu. I'd say that pretty much seals the deal of how epic this game will be.
 
I decided to go ahead and preorder today. Amazon is giving free download codes of 3D Classics Kid Icarus with preorders. Hope to play online with everyone

Just an idea: when this game launches, why not hold multiplayer tournaments?

Anyways, looking at how the game's online functions are looking, I can easily say this will probably be the Nintendo equvialent to Call of Duty.
 
Except this will be at the very least entertaining. Anyway, this may be the first game I pick up on the launch date. I'm excite.
