Is Nintendo Failing?

kind of  bad example since 3D fad has passed.

Maybe Nintendo decided to give Wii U owners a better value for their money by making the Wii U cost $299, so gamers have more money left over for games, and accessories, and they made a 2DS for gamers who don't like 3D, or folding screens, but don't want to pay the higher price for the 3DS since they don't like 3D or folding screens, so the lower price 2DS would be better suited for them.
I think Nintendo made a good move in both cases. The Wii U was very expensive to start with. As for the 2DS, making it just for kids is perfect. I know they would break the hinges. xD

the 3D wouldn't even be used so having a 2DS would be better and cheaper.

This was talked about with the SNES. And the N64. And the GameCube. They're Nintendo; they'll be fine.
I'll admit I didn't hear much news or talk on game systems and such till the Gamecube era, but I can't see how anyone could talk badly about Nintendo during the SNES/N64 eras.

I really think Nintendo makes some of the too popular games to go out of business. Everybody and their uncle plays pokemon. What I do think, is that they need to either start pushing their kids games again, or start upping the graphics.
