Is Nintendo's New Play Control range now dead?

You know, when they rereleased Gamecube games for the Wii with motion controls?

The last release was in October 2009 for the Metroid games in some regions.

I guess the scheme failed or something?

If so, it's about time. Again, I hate rereleases. I hate them a lot.

I guess that it is dead.

I can't see them re-releasing any other games, not even Mario Sunshine (Boy, that would be interesting to play with only the Wii Remote and Nunchuk!), DK had a re-release, and they've done the Pikmin games as well as Metroid. So what else is there to do? Kirby's only Gamecube game isn't worth it... They'd be better off making a Kirby Air Ride 2 with more courses, vehicles, colors, etc. Is there any characters/series I've missed here?

I don't know if the Prime Trilogy counted as a "New Play Control!"-type game. Mostly because of the packaging.

Seems like it. Thing is they remade all the boring games like Pikmin and Mario Tennis. I heard they were going to do Wind Waker like that. They should have done good games.
