Yes, I think the Xbox 360 4GB Slim is the most fun you can have for under 200 dollars since its games are in HD, there are a lot of cool exclusive titles for it like Halo, Fable, Forza, Gears of Wars, and Crackdown, you can use it to watch DVDs, listen to music, and stream music and video from your PC to your Xbox 360 connected to your TV.

It depends on the person, but for consoles, yes. Considering PS3's are still over $200, the 360 would be the next best thing. PS2 would also be in the top for me.

True, but buying used consoles can be risky since you never know if the previous owners abused their game console by knocking it over, or hitting it.

I would say that it is as long as you don't want to have games installed onto your harddrive.

Yes, but playing games off the Disc drive is not slow after the level has loaded, and the disc drives on the new slim models are quieter and might be faster if they upgraded to a slightly faster disc drive which spins faster or have more cache memory on the drive.
