One word for me: AWFUL.

Apple messed up iTunes!

Right now I am blind with rage (I can't think well right now so expect a short post) SEE?

I'll just say one thing: The old innerface was good as it was! They took something something that worked super well and just through it away! They didn't need to change it!

"If it ain't broken, don't fix it!"

Geeze Apple. Why change something if it already is as good as it is, and just make it worse?

I plan on leaving some negitive feedback on their website because they just set iTunes back 4 versions!

This might not even be iTunes at all! I looks like (versions 6-7 of itunes) a brand new program at version 1!

Word can't express my disappointment right now. Apple ruined themselves. That's it.

No reaction at all, because I'm an Android user. :P

I don't use iTunes unless I have to. Nowadays I have other methods of getting music onto my iPod.

I'm just flabbergasted by the name. 11.0.0.163... Can't they just call it 11, or whatever version they're on?

They do call it 11, Tiger just posted the actual version number. I like the new design. It's simplistic and cleaned up and it seems to run faster. One minor annoyance at first glace is that they completely removed the sidebars, though. Ah, seems that they moved all of its features to a top bar.

In the name of all pregnant foxes, how the hell did you even remember that number?

Does it takes like 545345312434378975649878974231231563525453156465454 hours to load? Like the older versions?

No, and it hasn't been like that in the more recent version either.

I have a 3.2 GHz CPU with 6 GB RAM...

And I timed the loading while posting this... it takes, on my PC, about... 7 seconds to fully load (but that's probably because I have over 10,000 songs .... most of them duplicates, where I put MP3s and then converted to AAC, but didn't remove the MP3, and a lot of them are VG music.

Okay, I had some time with it. First thing I noticed was that they changed the icon. I don't like it. Boooooo.

But anyway, other than the interface changes, there are only a few new features:

-Up Next (Select the song that you want to play next)
-The iTunes Store and "recommendations" are integrated into the library
-Preview history (history of songs you've previewed in the store; I don't get this one)

That's probably not all but the page on the Apple site lists these as the new features. I think the new version is decent, with a pretty nice minimal look. BUT THEY TOOK OFF COVER FLOW.

That makes me cringe

What part? The fact I don't delete the MP3s? OR the fact I convert the out-dated Moving Pictures Expert Group Phase 1, Audio Layer-III format, to the 'successor', and higher quality Advanced Audio Codec format?

The part where you didn't delete the MP3s.
