My hubby got me some new joy con's for my Switch (this is the original Switch, not Switch 2) as an early birthday present.
I had been playing so much lately that my characters in the games I've been playing have been drifting all over the place without me touching anything. Have anyone else had that happen? Do you have to buy a new joy con or a new controller because things are drifting on their own?
I've had joy cons drift on me in the past but haven't had a pro controller do it. Sadly you'll have to buy a new one if you don't wanna send it to Nintendo for repairs.
Good to know. Too bad I didn't find this out before my hubby bought me new Joy Con's. Oh well. Maybe I'll be able to send them in to have them fixed and keep them on hand......just in case.
Yeah unfortunately stick drift is an issue with the joycons. I'm hoping the joycons on the Switch 2 won't have as many problems. I don't usually play my Switch undocked and with my Joycons, I have a few controllers and a usb drive that allows me to use PS4 controllers on my Switch so I prefer to use them over the Joycons. But you should definitely send the broken ones to Nintendo even if you got new ones.
