Once the PS4 comes out, will you be keeping your PS3 machine or trading it in?

I'm keeping mine. I got a newer TV for specifically that purpose. There are too many PS3 games i've yet to play and too many in my collection alone to get rid of the console. Even though if I were to sell my PS3 and all of the games for it I'd be able to pay for 3 PS4's quite easily. :P

I'll be keeping PS3 around. Especially since PS4 doesn't have true backwards compatibility. (They might have Gaikai streaming of PS3 games... But it's hard to tell how exactly that'll work. Or how well it'll work.)

And plus even after PS4 is 2-3 years old there will still likely be games I want to play on PS3. (Since it's not like PS4 comes out and support for PS3 immediately stops. I mean with the PS2 they kept supporting it until well past the PS3's release date... And same with the PS1 into the PS2's life.)

Might as well keep it. Keeping it costs nothing and has no real downsides.

There may be games you do want to play on PS3 later. (Perhaps there will be a few unique exclusives for it within the next 2-3 years.) Or you may want to catch up on a backlog of games. Or even play with people on your friends list who are playing PS3 games.

I'm still debating about what to do with my PS3, it's no PS2 and there is only one or two games I see myself replaying.
I read a blog post which said it is best to sell consoles and its games faster if you want more money back since you get less money back for your console the longer you wait like most electronics and computers which drop in price as they gets older except for the rare consoles like the original Atari consoles. Sony may eventually release a cheaper PS3 like the Wii Mini which cost $99, so used  PS3 will be worth less when people can buy a cheaper new PS3.

I know there is no harm in keeping it, but I'm not exactly in a place that has lots of storage space. I won't be in the mood to sell it for at least another 2 years.

Yes.

Why?

Pretty fun, you might want to check it out. It was on sale for like half off (A steal, I guarantee you.), and the Tutorial system is second to none for Fighting Games. Hell, it's good as a tutorial. Sure, it could go deeper, but I think that would have alienated the beginner fighting game fans more than most tutorials. (And I like Resident Evil 5. I just don't have it for the PC (And no DLC for the PC release.))

Definitely keeping mine.

To put it simply, even when a a new system comes out I never trade in or get rid of my old one.

I am keeping for sure as well. I enjoy the console and I like having them accessible whenever I feel like re-playing some old titles or tacking games I never finished or bothered to properly start.

Yeah, I'm going to hold on to my PS3 until it dies most likely. I said the same thing about the PS2 but I eventually sold it.
