Developing for the smaller Xbox Series S, Upspec Gaming is looking to create a well-integrated screen and speaker system for the console. The design and developer's website were posted to Twitter via Tom Warren, a senior editor at The Verge. The device itself will clip onto the back of the console and be powered through the console itself. This eliminates any extra wires that are typically found in other third-party setups. Weighing under 2 lbs also helps lend to the portability aspect. Pictures displayed show a sleek design, and due to the fit, it makes it look like a first-party accessory.
 
Oh wow, that's actually quite cool. But knowing these types of projects, it will either not happen or it will be delayed by a long period

I was not aware that was a Kickstarter. There are some products here and there, to be fair that do work. I contributed to one that creates a wireless module for your car for Android Auto and they're already shipping it out which is good.

It wasn't a kickstarter I believe, but just a 3rd party driven thing.

This could be interesting. I wish they would develop mobile compatibility where you can play on your phone. I heard something about it being possible but I don't think they've done very much with it. Would be interesting. I can't say that many people will buy it only for the screen though since the majority of players hook it up to their TV.
 
I think there is a Game Pass app available for Android and iOS that allows you to play them on your phone. Not sure how good it is or whether I even have my information right but will check on it and report back.
 
Yeah, I was hoping for it to come out for PC soon but now that I have the Series X, it's not really a huge issue. I'm sure loads of people are waiting for it to try out Flight Sim and even Sea of Thieves
