I just finished playing Asphalt Legends Unite, on the PC.
This game used to be Asphalt 9, but the game recently went through some sort of brand refresh that changed the way everything looks.
Asphalt 9 used to be my favorite arcade racing game, but the constant carpet-bombing of manipulative FOMO crap really took me out of the experience. This game wanted you to treat the game like it was your job. There was even a "bank" system in the game, where the game pretends that you 'earn' a certain amount of premium currency every month, then has the balls to charge you $7 to 'withdraw' your own premium currency. It even left annoying notification icons and harassing messages, saying stuff like "If you don't get it now, it will cost more next time!"
The Asphalt Legends Unite refresh didn't change any of that, and the UI now looks like garbage.
