Continuing my Unicorn Overlord rerun on switch 2. Decided to help Rosalinde's excellent Thigh PLOT first instead of Virginia's Thigh PLOT lol and thus it's waay harder (+ Expert difficulty too, wonder how difficult will the True Zenoiran difficulty be, which I planned to do after this run, too bad no new game + though and thus the True Zenoiran difficulty run after this run will be super difficult) and with my characters being under leveled and underclassed.
I sent Lhinalagos and his squad ASAP northward to convert the northern Elven enemy camp to our side by diplomacy. Sent a cavalry squad to deal the enemy wizards ontop the northern watch tower along with Lhinagos and his squad. After that dealt with I sent my Cavalry back to the center base camp while Lhinagos continued northward. Had Alain and his squad used the catapult for a bit before I quickly returned him to the center base to guard it, vs gazillions of flyers, archers and shaman from the north. Assigned my flyer squad to the southern catapult and attacked the gazillions of healers, cavalry squad and enemies from the south. After Lhinalagos managed to convert the northern camp to our side, I quickly sent him and his squad back to base, dealing with the enemy fliers and squads along the way by using the northern catapult and by direct attacks. Continued on with the base defense, then after most of the northern enemies were dealt with I sent Alain's Squad with archer squad to deal with the southern enemy watch tower, a behind enemy lines attack lol. With the base now having fewer attacking enemies I moved all of my squad slowly southwards. Then there's an enemy cavalry squad that's giving Alain's squad a very hard time, good thing his squad managed to hold on until I managed to send my flyer squad to deal with the cavalry squad. Thus freeing Alain and the Archer squad to deal with the southern enemy watch tower. With the tower down the rest was easier with the enemy base camp getting pincer attacked from 2 sides. Victory and without any ally/own squad casualty too (0 KOs yay)! Recorded the tough battle:
