Let this be a lesson to you children:

Spam is something people don't like. You may ask, "Why?". Well, in some instances, members of forums sometimes post "Fluff", a form of spam, in order to improve their post count. This irritates other members who take the time to make meaningful posts that contribute to a topic because you are possibly gaining privileges, popularity, or possibly a form of points obtained through posting by posting irrelevant or unwanted "Fluff". In other instances, a member could be on the newer side, but has neglected to read the rules and contributed spam as a result. Not only is it annoying to have to correct something that should not have to be corrected, but it is also gives other members a reason to judge you negatively.

So now that we know what spam is, let's discuss how it affects you in your everyday life. While trying to engage in a conversation with other members, another member can contribute spam and possibly unfocus the discussion. Maybe, in another scenario, you are trying to ask a question, but are answered with spam. If you are not aware that this contribution was spam, you could be led to believe something entirely different than the actual reality.

With all this in mind, let's make an effort to reduce or even end the spam that has taken it's home in this topic, not only for the posters, but for other members to completely understand the situation. I say, we take a step further, and reduce all forms of spam on this forum, for the better experience of others and ourselves.

I actually read all that. I've learned my lesson now. Sorry.
