OK it's time to get this thing started

I got my six mystery eggs, which happened to be Aron, Larvesta, Roselia, Rotom, Swablu, and Tirtouga. Thank you Spoony Sage for the awesome team, now I'll get this thing started and move on to the second badge!

I got into a battle with Cheren, and he swept me with Oshawott... First trainer battle with my newly hatched eggs.

Generally, when trainers want to do a running game thread, they just make a blog for it (Get started here: http://nintendo3dscommunity.com/index.php?/blogs/ ), so you should consider doing that. Also, you really ought to level them up before challenging people! Unless you are going for an epic level 1 Aron sweep... (assuming yours had Sturdy)
