I bought Pokemon White last week and I am interested to catch Victini. I read the booklet inside the game and it says that I need a Liberty pass which will be distributed via Nintendo Wi-Fi from the release date 10 of March (which is one month ago) for a limited time. Since I just bought the game last week, how can I get the Liberty Pass?

Or does anyone know how to catch Victini without the Liberty Pass?

You need the Liberty Pass AFAIK. Just go on the main menu (before starting the game) and go down to "Mystery Gift". Then select "Receive over Nintendo Wi-fi Connection" (or WFC or whatever). You need to be connected to Wi-fi obviously. Hope that helped. I think they extended the distribution range but I have absolutely no idea whether or not it's still being offered.

Yeah, the problem is that I did not receive any gift (Liberty Pass) since it's already 25th of April now =.=

By the time I bought the game, it was 15th April....

Is there any other way to get Victini? Or is this the only way to get it?

Edit: Got Victini (used 5 Great balls, 6 Ultra balls and 5 Poke balls). In the end I caught it with poke ball =.=

Lucky dog. Took me 30+ Great Balls and multiple resets. I think I eventually got him with a Nest Ball.

Actually, I kind of gave up catching it. I put my 3DS on my bed after I used the 5th poke ball, while searching for ways to catch Victini then when I looked back at my screen, it says that I caught it...

Fun fact: critical catch makes things like this impossible NOT to catch. Just buy a ton of Pokeballs and throw them; you don't even have to weaken it. Odds are you will get a critical catch and instantly catch it at some point (also, Victini is low level and no threat).

It wasn't a critical catch, though, I don't think.

My memory is fuzzy, as this was over a year or so ago and on a cousin's DS, but I'm 99% sure it wasn't.
