Likelihood of a Wii U price drop?

I'm not too certain that the price will drop, but It could... they've said they make profit from Wii U when they sell 2 games with it. So I think there's a margin.

Source? The 3DS is sold at a loss. I wouldn't see Nintendo dropping the Wii U price.

the 3DS or XL? The 3DS is sold at a loss because of the 100 dollar price cut.

Probably both. The XL may have less losses, but I don't know.

I think that Nintendo should have made their tech sizes smaller and thus saved silicon and therefore money.

That would be a price game-changer. They would have even been able to boost the specs a lot.
