One of the new fall animes due to air, it's pretty much SAO.

30,000 Japanese gamers are trapped in the fantasy online game world Elder Tale. What was once a sword-and-sorcery world is now the real world. The main lead Shiroe attempts to survive with his old friend Naotsugu and the beautiful assassin Akatsuki.
Should be good, but I doubt it will match SAO's greatness.

Watched episode one yesterday and it's not as good as Sword Art Online from what I've seen. I don't even want to watch episode 2...

I decided to continue it, >_>
What turned me off in the first episode was that the behavior of the main characters was unrealistic. They find out they are trapped in a game and it barely affects them. Even Kirito was shocked for a moment when he found out he couldn't log out. In log horizon? Nothing. They don't care about finding out why or how it happened, they don't even seem to care about the fact that it happened at all. But this is pretty much its only flaw, and you eventually get used to it.

The assassin chick isn't cutting it too, >_>

I'm finally caught up on this series (meaning I have to wait a week for new episodes :squint: ) and must say it's really great. out of .hack and SAO, LH is taking the whole game trap thing pretty deeply. Although they are lacking info on the outside world which I feel is needed to show how bad it is to be stuck in there.

So far, great series.

Is it worth watching even with that short "wannabe" ninja chick? (I know I said I'll continue, but that ninja chick tho)

I was thoroughly enjoying this anime from the beginning, but slowly started to lose interest towards the end of the first season. It was to a point where I was skimming through episodes hoping for something that could grab my attention. In any case, it had quite a bit of personal appeal as I was guildleader at one point in World of Warcraft so it really caught my attention. I just wish it could have held it.

I'll probably give the 2nd season a shot and hope they take it up a notch or at least revert back to what worked well earlier in the series.
