Lose an hour tonight

It's spring ahead, meaning we lost an hour.

I thought we get an extra hour of daylight since it was still very bright out today. Losing an hour is disappointing, but may not be very noticeable for people who mostly stay at home, or mostly work or go to school from home.

Nope, thats in fall, as you turn back the clock (as in fall back) then you gain the hour. In the spring, you spring ahead and thus move forward which results in the loss.
