Mario Golf: World Tour

During its Nintendo Direct broadcast this morning, Nintendo announced a new Mario Golf game for 3DS. Titled Mario Golf: World Tour, the game will once again be developed by Camelot and will be available this summer.

Nintendo says the game "includes both simple controls and a deeper experience for golf fans" and that courses will "range from traditional to those inspired by the Mushroom Kingdom."

Characters confirmed so far include Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and Donkey Kong.

No, it's because it's pointless. It definitely is not sport material. You watch someone stand for 3 minutes, contemplating hitting a ball, and then watch as they walk over to the ball, then they hit it again until it goes in a hole.

I'm not talking about golf as a sport but about golf as a game. I also don't like it, although mini golf is fun.
