Even better than usual this time, since it includes gliders and underwater sections, as well as Airship Fortress and Luigi's Mansion from the DS game.

Custom karts? ZOMG! Underwater racing? DOUBLE ZOMG! Gliding through the air?! ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG!

This game looks like it's taking Mario Kart Wii and bending the rules a lot, now with underwater and air racing, heh. Kinda like Diddy Kong Racing, I just hope the gimmick isn't too crazy that it distracts from the regular racing. Unless if we can mini-turbo in mid-air? *shifty eyes*

EDIT: Just watched the trailer, and I saw Tikis from DKCR! Holy heck! And it seems like the glider and underwater propeller are optional kind of things, awesome!

Whoa, I can see a few familiar tracks as well as unfamiliar ones! And the ability to customise the karts now is great fun, heh. As well as additional things like Gliders and underwater areas.

I wonder though... Which characters will be hidden and will we see optional colours for the characters, for example red Yoshi or Fire Mario?

Seeing as there are PLAYABLE SHY GUYS IN MARIO PARTY 9 ZOMG, I see the chance of a playable Shy Guy in Mario Kart 3DS not too far from reality, heh. Please let it be true.
 
So ... one of Nin3DS's dreams is for Airship Fortress to be a retro track in a Mario Kart game.... and he got his wish. YAY!

Now, if the next Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U game has the whole "music from old games, either original or arranged" thing again.... just imagine this, Nin3DS. CRESCENT MOON VILLAGE... either just a remastered version of the original, or an awesome complete re-arrangement.... IN 3D!

Customizable karts. That's pretty cool. The hang gliding looks pretty stupid though. However I like the underwater driving.

I love that song! I wish there was a whole track based on it! I love references to other games like the Tiki Goons too.
 
So coins are returning, eh? Will they affect your speed like in Super Mario Kart, or determine your rank, like in MK:SC?
