I hope so, I might give it a try and see how bad I am if that's the case. I also hope that we don't have to use the gyroscope to perform tricks, maybe use the D-Pad instead. But that's just me not wanting to flick my 3DS around.
 
I remember reading somewhere about using the circle pad instead of the gyroscope. That might have been SM3DL though.
 
Cool, at least you can have your friend code registered with someone else through StreetPass. I can't wait for this game.
 
Would anyone buy new Tracks/Characters via downloadable content? I know I would. Although I know this is a long shot, its just a thought.

I meant you could control the first person mode with the circle pad. The motion features, the D-Pad or maybe even the Select button (probably not) may be used for tricks. That last sentence is pure speculation fyi.
