I agree but unfortunately I feel like people will buy it which will affect the general pricing of all games. I hope that I'm wrong but it just seems to steadily increase.

I'm going to guess this is the only Mario kart (maybe 8) that will release on Switch 2. If so, $80 is kind of fair.

I feel Nintendo may lower the price of Mario Kart World if not enough people buy the game for $80 which can mean Nintendo is making less money

Well Doug Bowser now said that even without the crazy tariff they would still charge 450 for Switch 2 and 90 for Mario kart world. And he said people that can't afford it should just get the Switch 1. But in Japan they charge 350 for Switch 2 and 70 for Mario Kart world. With Trump just added another 50% Tariff to China ontop of the previous tariff announcement, the prices will go up even further in the States...

Fair point. Numbers tend to indicate more of a previous iteration. I do think it was weird that there's only two numbered games not counting DLC/the Wii U port.
