Master Levels for Doom 2

I finally got around to finishing up The Master Levels for Doom 2 and my god they were some of the worst Doom levels I've ever played. Some were good but the amount of bad maps outweigh the good ones. From what I've read these maps were made by fans under contract from ID Software and not made by the devs of Doom 2. The Black Tower was probably the worst map, but there were others that sucked too. I'll probably never play these levels ever again. Have you ever played these levels before?

I played the master levels in Doom eternal and loved almost all of them.
