Anyone here use meal services like Hello Fresh, blue apron or others?

I’m not too busy or lazy to visit the grocery store.

Also some of those are pricey for one or two meals and don’t really replace going to the grocery store like advertised.

Take Blue Apron for example, you basically get two meals out of each kit. I know people who did that, but were like “wait, I still have to go buy lunch elsewhere”. So it basically moved their dinner cost from their grocery store to Blue Apron.

I don't use Meal services because I feel I can save more money by cooking my own meals from food I bought at a store.

Not a good idea when going to a store saves people more money, and also having to compete with it. But maybe it takes less work to employ delivery instead of ordering and stocking because of mail services.

They’re fine for people who don’t have time to go to the store, or are physically incapable, but for the average Joe, they’re either too expensive or only partially remove the need to visit the store.

I've been doing the hellofresh of late, yeah it's a bit much but we been using promo codes to keep it cheap as possible and gives us good direction on what to eat and just have everything we need and at the right amount to cook.

They are kinda expensive and not to mention that sometimes you don't get the items in time... So....
