Felt like they were trying to present a box of worms as pure gold. All the talk about connection only makes sense if the software actually uses that for something in-game. But then that'd mean that it would be mandatory for you to have every piece of equipment in order to enjoy gaming. Which is pretty much why people hate Capcom these days. Overall, they had nothing relevant to talk about, but insisted on wasting our time. Hooray.

The only thing of noteworthy nature about their show was the xbox smart glass idea. The only problem with that though is that something like this has already been created.

Well people thought Kinect wouldn't do nearly as well as what it has done.
If you mean the Wii U, well yeah, but I don't have to buy anything extra for this to work with SmartGlass. If I have a tablet or a phone that is compatitible, then it's free for me to use. If I want to use Nintendo's, I have to buy a Wii U. Huge difference.
I think it will work really well. Don't forget at any time they can update and add more features to it. Not to mention the developers that may want to add things to their games with it. It has a lot of potential to grow into many different things for every type of XBox owner.
