The iOS bridge and web app tools are already live. And now Microsoft has released a tool that lets developers turn Win32 or .NET programs into Universal apps.

Formerly known as “Project Centennial,” the new Desktop App Converter Preview is designed to work on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update Enterprise Edition preview (buildd number 10.0.14316.0 or later) and requires a computer with a 64-bit processor, hardware-assisted virtualization, and second level address translation. I wonder if there would be suddenly a lot more apps in the Windows Store for Windows 10, 8.1, and 10. The bigger number of apps could cause good apps to be harder to find if the app ranking, and search engine is not good at showing the good apps, and rank good apps lower down the search results.
