Minecraft 1.6.1 has finally come out for the PC. It has many new things including horses.

  • Added Horses
  • Added Donkeys, Mules
  • Added Horse Armor
  • Added Leads
  • Added Carpets
  • Added Hardened Clay, Stained Clay
  • Added Block of Coal
  • Added Name Tags
  • Added Hay Bales

I don't either... Have to carry more food with you in dungeons and caves. -_-; Those longer excursions seem like they'll be more annoying. I haven't played the new version much yet. Haven't come across any horses yet, but I did find a jungle temple near my base and was pretty excited that the chest in it had a diamond horse armor! No saddle though... :[ I wish they'd made the saddles and such craftable. I don't usually run into tons and tons of dungeon chests...
 
I have it and many of my favorite servers didn't upgrade because it wasn't good so I followed them and went back to my previous update.
 
LOL this makes me kinda glad the 360 edition is so far behind - although I'd like the darned Jungle biomes so I can plant these cocoa beans they keep giving me. :/
 
I actually looked around on the internet and found out there's an unused skeleton horse and zombie horse.

Both horses look exactly like the link to the mod I posted.

Does notch look into mods from time to time? Because this can't be a simple coincidence
 
Awesome. I hope I can get a new computer/laptop soon so I can get Minecraft. I remembered that my computer can't play Minecraft. lol.
 
I love this update. ^_^ The only thing that bothers me is that you can't swim in water on your horse. So unless you have a lead getting across water is a hassle.

Yes, hate on a game because your computer is utter piss worth.
