I play Minecraft on the PC. However, I did try playing it on the iPad and I must say...I didn't like it as much. It just wasn't as much fun and I found it much harder to be creative. I rather play on the PC in a server with my friends.
PC is and always will be better for many reasons. I do enjoy it on the xbox very much though because It's a great time with friends and maybe even family. I love minecraft 360 but I love PC minecraft 20x more. There both good in different ways.
I have tried it on the Xbox but it really feels lackluster compared to the PC version since I'm not a big fan of using a gamepad with a first person camera. Then again, some people might find it more enjoyable with a gamepad. It all comes down to perspective I guess.
Also, PC always has the more updated version compared to Xbox in terms of gameplay.
There are also lots of mods on PC which make the game a lot more enjoyable than it already is.
