Mom killed Over PlayStation

That person needs help man. Like really. Why would someone EVER kill your mother over a simple video game? People are crazy these days

Wow, that's horrible, after all the mother's done for him, after the years of raising him, feeding, providing a home, caring, and how does he repay her? He KILLS her. Just sick.

This kid was just being plain stupid, I mean it was just a game I don't know why he figured he had to kill his mom for it.

That is just sick! I honestly don't see how people can get so angry/frustrated over video games!? Looks like some people just need to get out into the real world/reality more often!

Explendid news but at same time sick!
People can do this because everything, it doesn't actually supreends me if it's over a game.
Plus his confession is a lie to me, his way to kill his mother was kinda sick, I think he had some pleasure doing it or he couldn't even start or complete his job.

Disgusting. I can't believe somebody would murder their own mother over a Playstation....

Maybe video games really ARE corrupting some of the youth today. tsk tsk tsk.

It's true, we are not growing in intelligence. Most kids now a days are paying less attention to school, and more to technology, colleges aren't getting the same amount of occupancy, and averages are lowering. The human race isn't looking to hot. ;P

That's a bit of a sweeping generalization, no? Every generation says the same thing about the next one when there's some kind of new media. The same thing happened with TV, rock and roll, etc. etc.

When Debbie Travis came to our school to talk, she stated that "most teenagers today are lazy and have no drive". The next day, our principal told us how insulted he was be her statement and how he now regretted inviting her. Our school has some of the highest marks and volunteer rates in the district. Granted, this was a few years ago when I was in high school, but little has changed.

But about the news story, Jesus.
Psychopaths are still psychopaths so even if he hadn't done what he'd done, something similar probably would have happened down the road.

I'm just waiting for some high and mighty politician who doesn't know anything about video games to blame this on them.

very well put... it only seems that way nowadays but because of technology we hear about more crap, especially when "young people" do it. funny cause the stories i always see are the ones of old washed up hollywood stars running their mouth and whining to the world...what kind of standard does that show?

a parent is a parent and can only do so much, at some point the child needs to grow a brain and know whats right and wrong (responsibilities of the parent)

just 2 cents
