Apparently it's coming out next year on November 2nd, and of course, it's in 3D. -.-
What do you think?

I'd be inclined to probably watch it, heh. I always liked the first one, but if it's going to be a prequel like it's rumoured to be... I don't think I'll bother much with it, heh. Unless if it's well-made, that is.

I knew this was going to be released a while ago. I'm all for this movie, anything made by pixar is ussually good. The first movie was great.

They're all usually good because they follow the same story template.

Intro, Neutral, Change, Friend made, Adventure part here, End bit, Sad part, Happy ending.

That's how it happens in EVERY movie.

I love the first one and I was expecting this by like 2007 or 2008 when it would be good, but maybe it won't be too bad. I mean look at Toy Story 3. It was still good even after 10 years.

I'd say I'm expecting this year's (Cars 2, I believe? >_<) to be terrible, but every movie's been basically art so far, so I'm not complaining.

Ok yeah Cars 2 sounds bad. I didn't like Cars too much. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my kind of money.

i knew for quite sum time this was coming out, i love the first one but i have to agree with my brother when i say that having a second one is kinda stupid...the ending of the first one was a good ending and should be left at him opening the door and boo saying "Kitty!!" even tho its like "aww i want to see what happens next", it was a good ending and i think it should be left at that....but i will still watch it when it comes out because i know itll be good seeing its pixar.

I'M ALREADY AFRAID!

Related, kind of:

I enjoyed the first one so I'll definitely rent this at some point. I won't go out of my way to see it.

Saw that on 4chan once.
4chan and other random memes tend to permeate the internet. If it is on one website, it is probably also on 4chan.

Back on topic, as quoted by Wikipedia; "a sequel was officially confirmed in 2010. The original release date of the film was November 16, 2012, but it was later changed to November 2, 2012 to avoid competition with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. In early 2011, there were claims that Monsters, Inc. 2 was going to be a prequel which focuses on Sulley's and Mike's studies at the "University of Fear", where they start off as rivals but soon become best friends. This has not yet been confirmed by anyone affiliated with Pixar or Walt Disney Pictures."

To be honest, the idea of Mike and Sulley in college sounds pretty funny. Note how Twilight had to go and mess up something else for the rest of us. Sigh. (Not that the release date of this movie really effects any of us, unless you are planning on seeing this in theaters.)

Pixar movies are usually decent, so there's a good chance I'll shell out some dough for a movie ticket. And Pixar > Dreamworks, always. Not saying Dreamworks hasn't made any good movies (first Shrek movie was great), but Pixar's streak is darn near perfect.

So it's about them in their college days? I don't like the sound of that
