Mortal Kombat XL was announced today which is a complete version of MKX that includes the main game and all of its post-launch content. Mortal Kombat XL will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 1st, 2016 in North America and March 4th 2016 in Europe.

In short, this is a fancy way of saying game of the year edition for MKX.

sounds like the PC version of this and X is getting nothing as the makers aren't interested in the PC port.
