As in, what video game reviews do you think gave the most laughable scores and why?
For me, I think the ones in the centre of the 'Drivergate' scandal are a pretty good example. They gave hilariously positive reviews to a broken mess of a game purely to get their articles out early:
Similarly, this magazine review for Bubsy 3D is hilarious. 93%? Yeah, that's a little questionable:
On the dishonourable mentions list, I have to say I don't have too many examples. However, I do find the 6/10 score Gamespot gave Luigi's Mansion 2 quite funny, if only because the reviewer's entire argument seemed to come down to how badly she sucked at playing the game (and complaining the third boss fight was too hard). Game Informer's similar score for Paper Mario 2 was a ridiculous as well.
