What things have you seen people see online about various games that you thought were too dumb for words? That were so ridiculous nonsensical or petty that they made you want to bang your head against the wall multiple times?
Don't name particular people here, but let's see what stupid video game comments we can remember!
I remember reading the comments for the Smash Bros Brawl trailer (back when the game was unreleased). Some guy was all up in arms about wanting Donkey Kong in the game, he's all like "Oh man I really hope they put DK in Brawl!! He's the coolest character ever!" He was like super worried that Donkey Kong wasn't going to be in Brawl for some reason.
Another guy replies to him like "He's been in the past 2 games so why would they not include him in this one? Moron..."
THEN another guy replies to the 2nd guy like... "Mega Man was never in the previous 2 games... dumbass."
LOL... apparently the last guy thought the first responder was replying to some other comment.
Before I had completed The Last of Us, a thread on 4chan's /v/ had convinced me that it was a horrible game. The comments were all along the lines of (paraphrasing here):
"The enemy A.I. don't engage friendly A.I. so this game sucks,"
"No reason to buy it because it's a movie, not a game,"
"The Last of Us and Bioshock: Infinite are both Uncharted re-skins and horrible games."
I look on IGN a few days later and The Last of Us is literally rated 10/10. And like 10 other sources rated The Last of Us 10/10 as well. I just laughed at the fact that I chose to believe a 4chan thread, lol.
I remember one time on youtube where some Halo fan was saying how Zelda copies every game and that Nintendo is for 7 year olds, according to him 'only real men' play Halo >.> I wish I could find exactly what he said :c
Okay, I eventually found my reply to what he said, his comment has been deleted :c but from my comment I just remembered, he said Zelda is gay -as in the character Zelda (Link) is gay- -.- I was laughing at that point xD

Dont start with call of duty...... Nintendo made up Video games, then Sega then Sony then Microsoft They copied others over 4 times. And Nintendo also had the first FPS. COD is at the bottom. I think jumpman should be given more credit honestly

I just rewatched the new Super Smash Bros. trailer and found this comment 'Halo on PS3 is better than this kids stuff' and here I thought it was an Xbox exclusive, I must be wrong :c

Ever heard of Atari? Nintendo wasn't the first to "make" video games. There were others before them.
If you meant by popularity, sure, they had a hand in making video games popular, but they were not the first to create video games.

Nintendo is the oldest video gaming company, because they use to be a Japanese playing card company when they first started in 1889, but you are right about them not being the ones who created the Atari.
A certain user here once complained that the sailing in Wind Waker was too slow. They then admitted that they were trying to sail without the sail....
I think I've seen about 8 comments saying how slow the sailing is in Wind Waker o.o I haven't actually got the game, is it as slow as people try to make out? >.>
