N3DS Community Ghost Gym Leader

UPDATE Currently, these are the Gym Leaders:
SpoonySage= Ghost
Fillfall= Dragon
SupahSonicFan= Grass
Stardragon= Psychic
Porkman= Ground
Amyntas= Fighting
Lord Regal= Bug

Rules:

Bring 6 level 100 Pokemon to battle with our Forum's Gym Leaders. Challengers would have to post their team in the official Challenge Thread (WHICH WILL BE MADE AFTER WE SET UP THE GYMS) and cannot change Pokemon throughout their challenge. This will make it easier to keep up with teams and make sure no illegal changes are made. Switching what items your Pokemon are holding between matches is allowed.

Species Clause- only one of each Pokemon per team (seriously, having to mention this at all is silly, but people do it!)

Item Clause- only one of each type of item (no giving Leftovers to everything!)

Evasion Clause- no using attacks or items that directly up your evasion. This includes Double Team, Minimize, Bright Powder, and Lax Incense (if you have a question about legitimacy, then just ask).

OHKO Clause- no using one hit knock out moves such as Guillotine, Fissure, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold.

Sleep Clause- you may only put one of your opponent's Pokemon to sleep. If/when it wakes up, you can always put something else to sleep. Rest does not count for this.

Moody Clause- no using a Pokemon with the ability Moody. Simple enough.

Random Bans- No using Drizzle and Swift Swim on the same team. No using Sky Drop (due to glitch). No Soul Dew if you are using Latios/Latias. You cannot have Latios and Latias on the same team.

Banned Pokemon- Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem (these are all Banned by official Pokemon tournament rules) as well as Speed Boost Blaziken, Wobbuffet, Excadrill, Garchomp, and Thundurus. EXCEPTION- Garchomp and Excadrill CAN ONLY be used on teams that do not have Sandstorm support.

Also, if someone could design us badges to give out like awards then that would be perfect. If you think that is too easy an award, then maybe just doing an awards for beating 2, 4, 6 and all 8 Gym Leaders would suffice. (I would make the post in the Request section should people support this idea).

Sounds like a lot of effort, but if we have a strong Pokemon community then this will only encourage more people to play and join the forum for the competitive experience of battling our Gym Leaders.

So, are you interested? Any thoughts?

Dragon would be fine, but I am suggesting we keep with current trends and ban Garchomp. Generally, the following are banned and/or limited:

150 – Mewtwo
151 – Mew
249 – Lugia
250 – Ho-Oh
251 – Celebi
382 – Kyogre
383 – Groudon
384 – Rayquaza
385 – Jirachi
386 – Deoxys
445 – Garchomp
483 – Dialga
484 – Palkia
487 – Giratina
489 – Phione
490 – Manaphy
491 – Darkrai
492 – Shaymin
493 – Arceus
494 – Victini
643 – Reshiram
644 – Zekrom
646 – Kyurem

Why is Garchomp banned?

Darn! The first type that came to mind that i wanted to use was dragon, but fillfall took it. Maybe i could take up psykick? I love pokemon and have beaten many of the games but the thing is is that I don't have my soulsilver anymore which had all my pokemon on it from that game and platinum. And i never owned black version, but i borrowed it from a friend and beat it. The only pokemon game i have left is platinum but I will have to start over with the adventure. What do I do?

I don't really know which game we will use, but I would prefer using black/white..

So far, the interest has been as follows:

SpoonySage= Ghost
Fillfall= Dragon
SupahSonicFan= Grass
EpicSage= Psychic

And yes, we would only be using Black/White versions. We may even use styles such as Double, Triple, or Rotation battle if any Gym Leader wants to enforce an extra rule on his/her turf.

As for the Elite Four idea, I would prefer if we were all just Gym Leaders and did not have any sponsored Champions. That way we are all equals who can be challenged in any order (in case someone is too busy to battle some weeks. Also, I think people would fight over the elite spots and that would cause more headache then it is worth.

Oh, okay. Well, maybe he will provisionally be psychic unless someone else wants it (since it the faster we could put together things the better. Asides from it being my favorite type, I have most of a Ghost team done now anyways. I also breed everything myself and would encourage anyone wanting to be a Gym Leader to train their own Pokemon and not to hack.
