NASA spends millions to get things to space...

I'm sorry Y64, but this is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
He wasted $300 to take a picture of Earth, NASA spends millions to get people up there.

Make another topic once he lands on the moon using E-bay, I'll then call the boy a genious.
At the moment, he just wasted $300 which could've been better spent.

NASA also performs developmental and scientific research, purchases and develops equipment, has to pay the staff, engineers, etc., and oversees missions of much greater magnitude than any of us could conceive in our backyards.

So I think they're justified in spending a bit more.

I've always though about making a video like this with a camera or my 3DS, but here is why I am afraid to:
  • It could get lost, and I will never find it.
  • It could land in water.
  • It could get damaged by something.
  • It could be stolen.
So that's pretty much why, but I still think NASA should do it this way.

Actually, the rechargeable battery, the LCD display (if it had one), and the plastics it was made from were all products, one way or another, of NASA technology. Of course, the WORLD'S FIRST digital camera was built by NASA for the Apollo mission in 1969...sorry...waa..waa.waaaa...waaaaaaaaah

...did you just break into a rock ballad or something?

The impression i got from that is that it took a lot of money. It' cheaper I'd assume to retrieve the footage by a wireless method

Did anyone else notice that NintenDan liked all of the posts here.

, but seriously, Dan is on a liking spree ^_^ he just loves to boost the morale of his fellow members, that or he got really really bored.

About the topic at hand, NASA has so much stuff going on, they still need to figure out the best way to prevent space diarrhea. Space suits don't ever be the same after one of those explode at mid space.
