Hope they release these over here, they look pretty good.
 
What I don't get is that they said now we will just be spending normal cash instead of Nintendo points of what ever. So why do they still have these cards? Are they only for people/kids with out bank accounts? Why not do it like the apple or android store now, where you jsut put in your info once and that's it? Or am I missing something here?
 
I want them.I havent bought a single downloadable game before,because i dont have a damn "Wireless Access Point".I'm getting a wireless modem in a while though,so im gonna get SMRPG and Kirby 64 first.I cant believe i havent played those!

I think they're as you said, for people without bank accounts, or who want to buy stuff without giving out personal information/bank details.

There are plenty of people (me included) who do not want to give their card/bank info away to too many people, especially after the Sony debacle. It's much safer to buy these cards. And it's not as if you have to use them, you'll be able to use credit/debit cards, too.
Also, there are bound to be some places where you'll be able to get these cards for less than their face value, thus saving money.
