Multi New Hitman is now episodic

Yesterday, the latest Hitman game's digital pre-orders were pulled and now today we know why. The gamers will no longer be paying $60 for this game as it will now be episodic, meaning it will be released in parts and you must pay for each part release.

The first episode comes out on March 11th, 2016.

It was heading this way anyway, they were kind of half way there with this game anyways and just changed it to fully episodic. I will wait until the full game comes out and a disk is released at the end of 2016.

Ugh... This sucks... Is making things episodic a trend nowadays? I see them do the same to movies, like, the last volumes of the Harry Potter, the Hunger Games and the Divergent series have all been split into several movies.

games are becoming episodic. Not sure about the last two, but the last HP movie needed to be broken up.
